The Crew
Venue Manager
Mitzi
manages the Chelmsford venue. She is a great asset to CerocMetro making sure everyone has an enjoyable evening and making sure that everything runs smoothly. Mitzi is a total Ceroc addict and is desperate to share he love of Ceroc. It is because of this you will often see Mitzi and her dedicated team of followers performing in the streets of Chelmsford not only in the summer but on cold winters days. When you arrive at the venue make sure to say hello to Mitzi with a smile. She will make sure you leave with one after a full night of dancing and socialising.

Teacher
Louise
is a popular and entertaining teacher. She has recently joined Ceroc and has already become very well respected for her teaching and dance skills. She is fabulous with beginners who often write in to us and praise her. She will make you feel comfortable and at ease even on your first night. Louise loves dancing with new dancers so don't wait for her to ask you.

DJ
Marie's
energy is infectious. She will have you dancing as soon as you walk in the room. She has a knack of knowing what people want to hear and you will see her bouncing up and down behind her decks with a pair of head phones attached to her head. Marie as with most good DJ's is a good Ceroc dancer so she knows a good Ceroc tune. She loves bringing new music into Ceroc and will always keep the dancers on their toes. Marie has a huge collection of music and will play a real mix of genres and tempos.

Taxi Dancers
A great team. All the taxi dancers in Chelmsford genuinely want to help everyone who is new to Ceroc learn how to dance as quickly as possible.

The Venue
The Chelmsford classes are held in one of the most stunning Ceroc venues you will ever find. The hall is in the Towns Courthouse and once was a Ballroom. You can see from the photo below that the hall has retained much of its original décor.

The atmosphere in Chelmsford is incredibly friendly. The venue has a bar and a beautiful sprung floor. There is a free car park a couple of hundred yards from the venue in Waterloo Lane just around the corner. The venue is a 5 minute walk from Chelmsford station.

There are a regular 100plus dancers every week and has a regular inflow of newcomers.

Classes start at 8pm with a beginner's class and the intermediate at 9pm. Also at 9pm is a review of the beginners class which is taken by the Taxi dancers. Freestyle is then from 9.30pm to midnight."

We have recently started regular freestyle nights in Chelmsford. These are NOT held at the Shire hall. Please look out for details of these events at your venue and make sure you subscribe to the weekly updates.
